Hexafluorine ® DAP 5 L is a portable emergency shower designed to neutralise and rinse away a large chemical splash of hydrofluoric acid over the whole body. Rinsing must begin within 60 seconds of the chemical splash to minimise injury, so place the Hexafluorine ® DAP close to the risk area.
A new Hexafluorine ® DAP 5 L includes a protective cabinet, S-Cut and gloves.

Hexafluorine ® is a unique first-aid rinsing liquid specially developed for use against hydrofluoric acid or compounds containing fluoride ions. It is effective against all acids and can also quickly neutralise the toxic fluoride ion, which otherwise can cause serious harm if allowed to penetrate the body, where it binds calcium, among other things. Thanks to the hypertonic* property of Hexafluorine ® the penetration of the harmful chemical is prevented, while Hexafluorine ® draws already penetrated chemical out of the tissue. Its positive effects are scientifically and practically documented in the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s report 2010:6.
