This product is part of the recycling scheme for the DAP 5L portable emergency shower. As the supplier, we can refurbish and reuse large parts of the container to offer the most environmentally friendly solution possible.
To get this exchange price, you must replace your old DAP 5L and send it back to Medical Care System on time. We must receive it no later than 6 months after its expiry date.

Description

Portable emergency shower for chemical splashes – full-body decontamination shower. Diphoterine® neutralises acids, bases (alkalis), oxidising agents, reducing agents, chelating agents and solvents. Meets the requirements of EN 15154-3/4. Includes S-Cut and gloves.

  • Each DAP has a unique ID number.
  • A heated aluminium cabinet is also available for the DAP.
  • Meets the requirements to replace an emergency shower according to EN 15154-3.
  • Single use.
  • Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Diphoterine ® solution

Diphoterine ® consists of a tailor-made molecule that effectively attracts and neutralises the chemical. Thanks to its amphoteric* and hypertonic* properties, Diphoterine ® solution prevents penetration of the aggressive chemical and draws already penetrated chemical out of the tissue.

* Amphoteric: Diphoterine can bind both bases and acids.
* Hypertonic: Diphoterine draws fluid out of human tissue.

Diphoterine ® solution is free of side effects and safe to use, as established, among others, in the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s report 2010:6.
